2014年9月16日 · The pickaroon was from Baileys & was shipped from Germany in about 2 weeks. The customer service was superb. The pickaroon is very nice for the money($50.00 +$15.00 ship). It has a sturdy hickory handle & nicely forged point. Its drawbacks are that its a little heavier than the Oxhead aluminum ones & doesn't seem to have quite the bite of those.

2021年3月17日 · I have the blue Logrite which makes the one Stihl sells in orange paint. I like it the best. Also have the 3n1 LogOx which is a great integrated system but is a heavier pickaroon I’ve noticed. I’m currently playing with one I made from a 3/8” bolt and a thick broom handle.

2016年1月2日 · There are no pickaroons in new Zealand. None. Well maybe one available through Stihl (never seen it in the flesh) but that's not at all the sort of thing I wanted. 2015年12月20日 · It looks like it has very good ergonomics. I don't know anybody that has a pickaroon that I could try out. I think the logrite would be very durable but I am concerned about how the tool would handle. I'm not sure if the straight pipe handle would work as good as one with an ax type handle. I already have a stihl/ logrite cant hook.
