Su Teatro offers a variety of programming that includes our theatre season, Chicano Music Festival, Film Fest, WordFest, the Cultural Arts Education Institute and our touring productions.

Since 1989, Su Teatro has produced full theatrical seasons, now over thirty seasons makes them one of the oldest ongoing theaters in Metro Denver. At the Centro, Su Teatro started most of the programs they continue to do today, including the Chicano Music Festival, the XicanIndie FilmFest and the Cultural Arts Education Institute.

Su Teatro is an American professional theatre. It is the third-oldest Chicano theater company in the United States and the oldest theater company of any kind in Denver, Colorado. [1] Productions explore the Chicano experience in America with an emphasis on preserving cultural heritage and advocating for social justice. [2]

For over 40 years, Su Teatro has established a national reputation for homegrown productions that speak to the history and experience of Chicanos.
