The Su-25 Frogfoot is a Soviet-origin ground-attack aircraft, designed and produced by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. It was developed in the 1970s to provide close air support for ground troops, fulfilling a role similar to that of the American A-10 Thunderbolt II.
