There seems to be misconceptions of what the car is capable of since most just run JB4s or downplay it because its a 4-cylinder. I have some super respectable results to show on the stock turbocharger.

2021年7月10日 · Should be good for 300WHP and even more WTQ. That's around 360-375 crank hp, (give or take) in a 3180 pound coupe. Some people sleep on these b48's, not a good idea even with a mild tune in place, lol. Add in a quality DP, e85 mix and a retune for even more get up and go if you want a really good shot at sub 4 seconds 0-60 times.

2023年9月22日 · In BMWs, B48 tuning projects are becoming popular, with people making over 400whp on the stock internals pretty reliably, but I haven't seen anything special done with the Supra B48 tho. I wonder if anyone has done anything crazy with the B48 engine in the Supra yet?

2019年2月3日 · inline 4 is the B48 which is literally the exact same motor with 4 cylinders. Click to expand... I believe the B58 will be more reliable than the B48 due to its larger displacement which can handle more heat and load than the B48. The B48 may be more fuel efficient; but in the long run, the B58 is clearly more reliable.
