2010年10月1日 · Over the past 2 weeks my 2007 XL7 seems to have developed 3 different, but possibly related, problems: 1) Within the first few miles of driving, usually only once, it will "chug" and "stutter" as if it isn't getting enough gas and wants to stall. It has thus far NOT stalled and the chugging goes away after a short amount of time (maybe 20 seconds).

I am interested in the XL7 but the 33" of rear seat leg room does not excite me. If the second row seats are around 36" like the Grand Vitara and the third row is at 33" then it may be something I could consider . . . however, if the second row is 33" and the third row is even less than that it is another matter altogether.

The xl7 is still in the shop,,,, waiting for parts and whatnot. The dealer service guy keeps telling me not too worry that the vehicle will be ready soon. I have heard thru the grapevine that this has happened to a few other xl7s because of the manner in which it is shipped thru Canada.

The horsepower race fans are hoping Suzuki puts the XL7's 3.6L V6 in the GV for '07. Others are hoping Suzuki makes available the diesel available in it outside North America. My guess is they will stay with the 2.7, which has been used in the >06 XL-7. Outside the insiders, no one really seems to know yet.

Thank you so much for the information! Since you know so much about the Outlander maybe you could help with something else. Do you know if there is any way to program the doors to lock automatically when the ignition is started. I had this in my last 2 vehicles(CRV & XL7) and have gotten used to it.
