Thanikunnel Mathew Jacob (16 September 1950 – 30 October 2011) was an Indian politician and the leader of the Kerala Congress (Jacob). Jacob was the Food & Civil Supplies Minister [ 1 ] in the UDF government, which was elected into power in Kerala in 2011.

Kerala Congress (Jacob) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Kerala. It is a faction of Kerala Congress founded by the former minister the late T. M. Jacob who has held portfolios like Education, Irrigation, Culture and Civil Supplies in the Kerala Legislative Assembly.

He was also a part of Democratic Indira Congress founded by K Karunakaran briefly. Jacob became MLA for the first time in 1977 from Piravom constituency. He was 26 then and was also the youngest member of the Assembly.
