85 mm ZiS-S-53 tank gun (58 rds.) The T-44 was a medium tank developed and produced near the end of World War II by the Soviet Union. It was the successor to the T-34, offering an improved ride and cross-country performance, along with much greater armor.

In 1946 work on the T44 began, designers were influenced by a combination of several German weapons: the much feared MG42 multi-purpose machine gun and the FG-42 - a rifle developed for the German paratroop corps.

Eventually adopted by the U.S. Department of Defense under the designation "M14", this selective-fire rifle was tested by the Army in 1957 as an all-purpose infantry arm intended to replace the M1 Garand rifle, M3 submachine gun and M1/M2 carbine. Production versions were manufactured by Harrington & Richardson, Winchester, and Springfield Armory.

2019年12月1日 · The T-44 is an amazing tank. It plays the mobile peak-a-boom role exceptionally. The top engine makes that tank, and the 100mm gun is the way to go. Stay behind, but in close proximity to front line tanks and wait for the enemy to fire. When they are on reload you should push out and put a shell into their lower plate.
