2023年1月16日 · The FAL (in the form of the T48 rifle) had already been trialed and rejected by the Army (albeit more for political reasons than technical ones). With the M14 and M16 already in service, the Army and USMC weren't going to add another rifle to the mix, one of the reasons the Stoner 63 was never adopted by either service.

The T44 rifle should have not been chosen as the M14. It was the T48 that should have been chosen! The T48 aka the FN FAL! And NATO should have been using 7mm NATO aka .280 British, not 7.62x51mm NATO! THE TRIALS WERE RIGGED! Reply reply Knighthalt •
