Hola, cuando intento jugar desde Origin (instalado en el pc) me sale una ventana emergente preguntanto que si permito que esta aplicación haga cambios en el dispositivo? TS4_x64.exe. If that doesn't help, open [install path]\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and trash TS4_x64.exe, then repair a second time, which will force Origin to download another copy of the .exe. I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.

Try disabling the option within the game settings and using the one in the Nvidia Control Panel instead. Right-click on your desktop, select the Control Panel, click Manage 3D settings > Program Settings, choose TS4_x64.exe (not TS4.exe, that's the 32-bit version), scroll down to Vertical sync, and set it to On.

When I get to the point where I should go straight into the game, that notification comes up. After a few hopeless tries of opening TS4 again and again because...I thought maybe one of the times it would work, I keep getting to the exact same point before it crashes and goes off. I'm not a techno genius either.

I installed a game from Steam on the laptop yesterday. (I hope I'm allowed to ask about this here because the game was not TS4, it was Planet Coaster). Started the game up and within less than a minute, Hwinfo was letting me know the CPU temps were reaching 80C or above and staying there. This is the first time that that's happened.

Hm, so I've managed to accomplish safe mode with networking (apparently you mus have a cable connected, not just wi-fi) but that still doesn't change the fact that it should be possible to update the game without entering safe mode :/
