2018年1月16日 · If you find the new CDi doesn't fix your problem it is unlikely that you would be able to return it - or at least that is my experience with electrical parts. If you haven't got anyone nearby that you can try your CDi on then maybe go for a tested used one that you can easily sell on if it is not needed - see here for example. Brian

2018年1月13日 · I also needed a CDI cause no power was being sent to the coil so I knew it was bad. Here are the rough values as I recall them: With bad CDI: orange wire, key on, no cranking: 0v. Cranking: 0v. Good CDI: orange wire, key on but not cranking: 60v DC. Cranking, nearly 200 DCV. Good pickup coil: 200 ohms, .5 ACV while cranking.

2013年9月30日 · When it gets hot (After a good two hours of fairly hard riding) for some reason the starter motor wants to keep cranking over and the only way to stop it is by pulling out the battery. Turning off the key does nothing and neither does hitting the kill switch.

They use a microprocessor and have the same advance curve as OEM but max advance is improved for better performance plus has rev limiter set at 9500. 2023年11月1日 · The fact that you are not seeing 12v at the cdi means that there is something in either the main switch/ kill switch or the wires. Trace out the voltage at the kill switch on the wire that doesn't go to the cdi.
