2021年8月17日 · H16-66 F3060 was built in 1958 to move coal at TVA’s generating plant in Gallatin, Tenn. The H16-66 locomotives were a 1,600 horsepower version of the 2,400 horsepower H24-66 locomotives. The locomotive was used until 1997 when it was retired and it has remained in Gallatin ever since.

TVAX F3060 : Description: TVA brought its "Baby Trainmaster" out to display at the "Spirit of Tennessee" Bicentennial Train's stop at Gallatin during the summer of 1996. 2024年9月22日 · Personally, I think that it is in my top 5 favorites. This locomotive was built in 1958 by Fairbanks-Morse, and sent to the Gallatin Plant, in Gallatin, TN. It took coal to the CSX interchange. It would continue this work until 1997, and is among 9 remaining preserved Fairbanks-Morse locomotives.

TVA 3060 was one of the last locomotives they delivered to any railroad, as they exited the locomotive market by 1963 having produced less than 1500 units. The Gallatin plant provided the perfect location for the locomotive to operate for almost forty years.
