The TVR Griffith Series 400 is a 2-door coupe sports car produced by Griffith Motor Company in Plainview, New York (a Ford Dealer in Plainview/Hicksville NY, Long Island), between 1964 and 1967.

2025年3月1日 · The TVR Griffith 400 was a sports cars that was introduced for 1965. Continuing where its predecessor, the Griffith 200 , left off, the Griffith 400 was a front engined two door coupe, featuring a similar body shell, but with improvements to rear visibility and new taillights.

The TVR 400/450SE was a series of open sports cars designed and built by TVR in the late eighties and early nineties. The 400SE was introduced in 1988, the 450SE a year later. The 400SE was the last of the Wedges built, with the last cars being produced in late 1991 and registered in 1992. [1]

2019年10月9日 · The Series 400 left Griffith’s facility equipped with a 289ci HiPo V8, which is backed by a four-speed Toploader gearbox, also from Ford. A dual-quad Offenhauser intake and four-barrel Edelbrock/Weber carburetors have been installed by the current owner. A replacement 4130 chromoly tube chassis was reportedly installed at some point in the past.

One of the lightest Windsor V8 powered road cars of all time! Amazing!! Gotta love it. British lightweight design + American brutal power = always an excellent combination.
