2012年8月20日 · Looking at my options here for a well made candidate for replacements I land between TYC or DEPO. My question though will be which brand is better and more resilient to moisture development, better constructed, etc.? These will be 2012+ replacements btw, and I am finding DEPO's run cheaper per side than TYC. So I want to buy once, cry once. Lol.

2018年8月21日 · What are ya'll using now days for replacement headlight housings? I've bought cheap ones from Rock Auto before and they were good for a couple years. Now I have to replace them again. Is the TYC brand at Rock Auto any good? I'm not looking for fancy aftermarket upgrades other than possibly an LED bulb but I'll probably just stick close to stock.

2020年11月13日 · TYC Headlights are the bomb!! Very happy now after trying some pretty but terrible after market ones, TYC even came with bulbs and the entire assembly (the back part) looks exactly like the originals, light pattern is good and uniform. Hopes this helps someone avoid getting bad lights..

2019年7月12日 · Welcome to the site. Most go with either Depo or TYC brand replacements as they are the better ones out there. Finding them with the blacked out bezel shouldn't be an issue. Replacing them is not that hard as well. The hardest part would be the bottom bolt which can be accessed through the bottom behind the fender liner so bumper removal is not required.

2013年4月19日 · TYC makes really good OE headlight and tail light housings that are damn near the same as any OEM assembly. I have bought TYC housings for several vehicles and never had a complaint.

2019年2月26日 · OEM is the best. TYC and Depo are cheaper alternatives that don't totally suck. Spyder and Alpha Rex also make good lights, but some people don't like the light patterns. Spyder can often be found relatively cheap, so they're what I bought when my originals started to literally fall apart.

2011年7月31日 · I'm getting ready to order some aftermarket headlights to retrofit. It sounds like the TYC and Depos are most popular but I was wondering if it’s worth it to pay the extra for the CAPA versions? I understand CAPA is supposed to be better quality but is this mainly the reflectors or does it include the housings and adjusters too?
