2021年12月31日 · Bought 450 pcs Buildin' Blocks in town £6. Only average 2 1/3 stud/brick. eBay, 660 for £7, includes plate & slope, 2×4 plate not holding atop, 2×4 brick bow in when on bottom, both cases can use 2 bricks instead of 1. Not all sizes in each colour, so only red useful. If 2 plate = 1 brick then average 2 1/2 stud/brick.

2015年12月31日 · At the time, LEGO was starting to face strong competition in the US from Tyco Super Blocks, who started competing with compatible bricks in 1984. They had an ad campaign that basically showed them as a cheaper alternative, and LEGO was VERY nervous about what that meant, because Tyco was a pretty big toy company at the time.

2016年5月14日 · A "Chunk" in Minecraft is 16x16x256 blocks. Based on a 32x32 baseplate this build is actually 16x16 blocks. The height however would not be possible to replicate since it would be too high. You do not want a tower like that to fall over a bunch of kids at an exhibition.

2016年3月13日 · A friend clued me in to super caps. For the uninitiated, a typical capacitor you see on your motherboard is something like 50uF and good up to 25V or so. The super caps I bought are 100F, which is 200000x the capacity of your typical 50uF cap, although they are only good up to 2.7V. Caps higher than 100F exist too!
