I have a Tacx New smart bike where suddenly got problems with bike giving very high. resistance. This made it impossible to pedal. This is both when bike is connected to power and un-plugged. Firmware is updated. I have now just received a new replacement body and dis the swap of parts. And have same issue !!! ?? So really confused what issue ...

Thanks for the detailed reply JasDW. I’ll re-install the crank arm tonight. I have contacted Garmin so they are aware of the problem. Shame as I’ve had the Neo and Neo T2 without any problems. They are all very well made products and really don’t want the hassle of packaging it up etc .

I used the iPhone Tacx Utility App and followed their instructions, which sorted my problem out. They emailed me the file whic I needed to use from within the Tacx Utility App (Neo_bike_0_39.tacxfirmware). But, my solution is not temporarily, then I use the Taxc Neo Bike 2-3 times a week - and since… BShoe 6 months ago in reply to rgernaat +1 After my issues with the left crank arm, I bought a long bolt with self-locking nut and big "fender washers" that span the opening that the screw-in cap would cover.

It is the same spline as the Shimano LH crank arm, BUT the plastic housing of the bike interferes with the inside of the Shimano arm and rubs. If you are willing to remove the plastic cover or cut the plastic away around the spindle then I think it would work. I chose not to do that and will continue to use the Neo's LH arm for now.

I've tried many things to get the cycling dynamics visible on my Tacx NEO Bike. But I can't get it to work. I have the latest software (0.0.45). It doesn't show when I log a ride in de Tacx app. It also doesn't log the data when I connect my Garmin Edge 530. Any clue what I might be doing wrong?

Just received new tacx neo smart bike, i recognised it was extremely difficult to hold even 300 watts, on a zwift ride, when on my road bike with 4iiii power meter that's relatively easy, I've updated firmware now and see if that makes it fix, hope I don't have to replace it.
