HI everybody I own : A pair of TN-2 original 2x 1601A and B A pair of TH-4001 and TD 4001 i am looking to build a case for them.would love to do a perfect clone of the TSM2 / 2402 Do you know where i could get them made ? anyone could share the building plans ?

2007年7月10日 · If you really want to get serious you could use Soundeasy crossover abilities to design a digitally delayed, transient perfect, 3-way, fully active, equilized crossover for your TAD 2402. Other people may tell you different, but the odds of developing a good crossover for a compression driver and horn without measurement tools is slim to none.

2016年4月2日 · Hi guys, So i've got a pair of 2401 twins and 2402's....the 2402's are staying as they best fit my listening space. I'm looking for any advice regarding amplification. The crossover frequency is 650hz so i am looking for amplification below this figure. I have purchased a nice amplifier for the upper bandwidth, the Yamamoto A-02.

When trying to calculate the TAD 2402 port length by using WinISD I never succeeded to find the port length used by TAD 105mm for a 100mm diameter (fb 32Hz for 135L for a single TL-1601a). Instead I did as it was in the plan, measured Fb, and it was working perfectly

According to TAD: "AFAST (Acoustical Filter Assisted System Tuning) is used in the upper portion of the horn. The acoustical filter absorbs the horn's resonance to prevent sound image blurring, as a result, sound reproduction becomes much clearer."

However, like the TAD TD-4003, the TD-2002 uses proprietary compression fittings for the wiring connections. This driver uses a more traditional connection. I have no idea what the specifics of this driver are, but they do appear to be TAD/Pioneer beryllium diaphragms and are probably very good drivers assuming they are operating to spec in ...

2017年9月12日 · Ari and I talk on the phone quite a bit and during one of these conversations he declares ownership of TAD's rare and highly prized parts for the 2404 studio monitor . I've been trying to help him sell the parts after he decided to go another direction ,but after 6 months no one has shown any serious interest .....
