Nov 30, 2020 · Googling TDA1305, it seems as if Philips intended it to be used as their Continuous Calibration dac for higher-end devices (Cambridge Audio, Naim, etc are some of the manufs that have used the 1305). Meanwhile, budget devices (soundcards, etc) has cost-effectiveness of TDA1543, -45 and TDA1387.

Jun 6, 2020 · I've heard that TDA1305 can be made to sound quite good, but it needs the internal opamps bypassing. Not a straightforward modification by any means. I've not had good results with just tweaking layout/power supplies for it.

Do you have scope to see the 20khz burst? The designer that made it is reading the caps thread 😎.... Although the yelows caps: ! SUPERB!!!!
