I'm running teck underground to a shop and where it goes into the side of my house to the panel I'll be using PVC up from the ground into a PVC LB and I cannot bend it to have the outer sheathing and armour to go continuously into the panel so I need to cut the outer jacket and armour off and have the armour just sitting in the Lb.

2023年9月26日 · The way we do it is to stub out of the wall with 1 1/4 EMT and a rigid/emt LB. TECK connector on the bottom with a reducing bushing. Then either secure the cable down the wall and provide a stub of PVC at the bottom for mechanical protection, or extend that mechanical protection all the way up to just below the TECK connector.

2016年9月27日 · The guy I have been working for does some hot tubs and I always see teck cable near the floor going into the tub though. The last house we did a hot tub removal and the tub was about 20" away from the house wall. The installer ran teck horizontally along the house, down to the ground, then across the patio slabs the 20" distance.

2019年4月29日 · No rule of thumb. With so many combinations of Teck available now, I am using it for lots of things. As an example, on a commercial job, I can run a length of 12C12 to a box and branch out from there. Since the conductors are numbered rather than coloured, you can change your red/black/blue easily.

2017年8月16日 · -ACWU contains aluminum conductors, whereas Teck has copper conductors. Teck also has an inner PVC jacket (under the armour, over the conductors) in addition to the outer one, whereas ACWU only has the outer one. Both have interlocking armour.-RA90 is PVC jacketed aluminum sheathed cable.-Google is pretty cool, you should try it.
