2023年5月13日 · So today was the big day. I booked a 1 day rental for a Tesla Plaid on Turo about a month ago. I had to drive to Jersey to pick it up (3 states away). Lot of traffic and bullshit to contend with but totally worth it in the end. My take away is that it it's an incredible car, especially given the price point.

I bought an early 22 plaid and regret the fact that it didn’t come with advertised features, like computer needed for Steam. Also lots of interior lights were left out. In general wouldn’t buy another first version from Tesla, or at least give a few years to confirm they deliver quality first.

2022年1月19日 · (Don’t put yourself in harm’s way financially). More surprising than 0-60 is the 50-90. The acceleration feels linear and even if traveling at 50mph, pushing the accelerator down will throw your head back. I prefer if people don’t know it’s a Plaid and will be de-badging…I got the plaid for me and nobody else.

On tesla.com the 0-60 times are given as 3.1s for the LR and 1.99s for Plaid. However when you look at the fine print (and that only shows when clicking on feature details) you see that Tesla has "With first foot of rollout subtracted" but only for the Plaid making this …

2023年10月22日 · Wanted to see if there are any specification differences between a 2021 or 2022 model versus a new 2023 model. The only difference I can see are the red brake calipers and plaid badge. The thought of buying a model S plaid at a sub $70,000 range and adding the track package. Sounds like a fantastic deal.
