When I saw this commercial my only goal in life at that point was to live long enough to play a ps9. At this pace I should make it as long as ps9 comes out before 2050. In 2020 I just hope the ps brand is around to make a 9th console or what ever it maybe.

The jumps now days, though technically impressive, aren't very impressive visually and does not make a huge difference in gameplay. The only major paradigm shifting advance of late was VR. Thus overtime, I can see the release rate of new consoles slow down.
