Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev [a] (born 17 May 1953) is a Kazakh politician, diplomat, and tycoon who has served as the President of Kazakhstan since 2019. [1] He previously served as Prime Minister from 1999 to 2002 and as Chairman of the Senate from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2013 to 2019.
