2013年3月21日 · "tsclient" recently appeared on a Windows 8 machine we have on our network. Reading around, it sounds like this is typically used for remote desktop applications. However, I haven't used any remote desktop services. (Unless some indirect application uses them? xbox glass?) Could the appearance of tsclient indicate some sort of attack on my network?

Most of the time it will be listed as something like \\TSCLIENT\C or similar. Then just run the command with the path being something like \\TSCLIENT\C\Users\bob\Desktop or whatever. For instance, to get a sorted directory listing of the root of C on my redirected C drive I would type:

I have tried to use "net use com3:\device\com1, net use com3:\tsclient\ts033" and a few other combos on my VM to redirect the ts com port to a "real/virtual" one. I don't have the money to spend on purchasing a serial server (new or used) or purchase the amount of licenses/seats for 3rd party software.

But if you browse to the network drive through a shortcut on the desktop say and go to the same file it takes upwards of a minute to open and comes up with \tsclient\u:And path name . and processing .
