The TT-30, [b] commonly known simply as the Tokarev, is a Soviet semi-automatic pistol. It was developed during the late 1920s by Fedor Tokarev as a service pistol for the Soviet Armed Forces and was based on the earlier pistol designs of John Moses Browning, albeit with detail modifications to simplify production and maintenance. 2022年2月15日 · From 1931 to 1945, 1,330,000 TT pistols were produced in the Soviet Union. The TT pistol fires standard ball rounds, tracer, and armor-piercing incendiary rounds. It lacks stopping power but makes up for penetration and accuracy. In terms of penetration, it outperforms most other pistols. It shoots through a 15 cm wooden log.

The Tokarev TT is a short recoil operated, locked breech pistol. It uses Browning swinging link system, borrowed from the Colt M1911 pistol, modified to simplify production. The single action trigger had no safeties, other than disconnector to prevent out-of-battery fire, and a half-cock notch on the hammer.
