My question is will I be limited to a 5.1.2 Atmos system? I have read somewhere about using a "power amp" to add more channels?

I've just upgraded to the 2019 Shield TV pro and found Dolby Vision won't work when passing through the TX-NR646 amp, only when connected directly to my TV. There doesn't appear to be any firmware updates to resolve this either, so I'm stuck with either no Dolby Vision, or passing the audio back to the amp through ARC.

2008年5月30日 · Hi I'm also having an issue with audio dropping. I have the onkyo TX-NR646 I've had it for about 2 months now, got it off of a friend. I run everything through ARC but it's all of a sudden just stopped working. I'll either have intermittent sound or no sound at all. All the settings on the TV are fine.

We manufacture receivers that support HDMI to Zone 2 without Analog or Optical Cable but unfortunately the TX-NR646 is not one of them."
