The Vienna U-Bahn (German: U-Bahn Wien), where U-Bahn is an abbreviation of the German word Untergrundbahn (English: underground railway), is a rapid transit system serving Vienna, Austria. When it is completed, the U5 will be five kilometres long, with eight new stations, and accommodate 120,000 passengers each day. It will be the first fully automated metro line in Vienna with trains travelling without a driver. All U5 stations will be equipped with special platform doors, which we developed exclusively for the project.
