I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has been able to use their GI, VA, or Cal Vet benefits to assist them with their UCEAP expenses or any alternatives like what scholarships you've applied to or how to go about taking out a student loan. I don’t have the exact date anymore since the deadline has passed, but it will be present on UCEAP’s program deadline page. 2017年1月7日 · And yes, grades are curved to be easier. For my program, a 79% was an A-. If you are going through UCEAP chances are that there will be an office there to help you with any concerns. You'll meet the people working there during orientation if it's anything like mine. Orientation is also a good chance to mingle with other UC students.

hi! i'm new to study abroad and uceap but i got into the made in italy - rome program for summer 2024 and i'm suuuper excited for it! does anyone have any helpful tips for this program/general study abroad/things to know about italy that they don't mind sharing? or would anyone be willing to share their experience if they completed the program or something similar?

The UK and chose the attended grading option but the UCEAP office refuses to accept this grading and will change it to an F. I tried contacting the UCEAP but I feel like they don’t want to help me at all.

2020年3月27日 · I did UCEAP my spring semester of junior year in Bordeaux, France. I’m now an alum, but it’s still one of the best decisions I ever made. The most important thing is to choose the program that best matches what you want to get out of study abroad. My goal was to take my French to the next level and truly immerse myself in the culture.

I did UCEAP twice because it was so fun. Went to Korea and Japan. UCEAP is probably one of the best programs out there for study abroad because they're pretty organize and plan trips for u. For example, when I was in Korea and Japan, I got to attend field trips that other nonUCEAP kids couldn't go. My tip is always go out, even when u are studying.

2022年11月7日 · So although I’ve found the UCEAP program to be fantastic overall, one of my only gripes is housing. You’re essentially thrown out on your own to find things, and while there are dorms, most I’ve talked to have had to apartment hunt themselves (a huge problem because of the housing crisis here) because the dorms are in the middle of nowhere.

2023年12月23日 · I’m a transfer who just discovered that estimated costs for my study abroad trip will be $15,000 based on UCEAP’s estimate for the program I want to go to this summer at UCL. Also are these programs really only 6 weeks long with two classes? Because $7000 in tuition for two classes is borderline crazy. Am I missing something here?
