Google Apps has a web-based client that allows access to all of the features of U-Mail: e-mail, contacts, and calendar. From your browser, go to mail.google.com. Notes: - For the Email field, make sure to enter [email protected] (link sends e-mail) .

You can log into gmail with your [email protected] and your UCSB password. A U-mail alias is automatically added to your account and your default email is set to [email protected]

U-Mail WebAccess is available anytime from any web-browser. To sign in you must use your full U-Mail address and password. Below is a preview of what the sign-in page and your e-mail display look like:

You can access your Google U-Mail account on mobile devices by downloading the Gmail app or by configuring your Mail app to receive messages from your U-Mail account.

The U-Mail Student E-Mail Service provides e-mail and other affiliated electronic services for UCSB's student population. Visit the following links for details on our service.

To activate your U-Mail account, you'll first need to activate your UCSBnetID using the UCSB Identity Manager. If you're eligible for a U-Mail account, the Identity Manager will notify you and step you through the process.

Support for the U-Mail service is provided by the Collaborate Student Support Center. They can provide help on all aspects of the U-Mail services, including account activation, desktop & mobile phone configuration, and messaging problems.

Enter your email address, your UCSBnetID password, and a Description such as U-Mail/Google. NOTE: If you have activated 2-factor authentication ("2FA") for your U-Mail account, you must use the "app password" you created for Mail on your iPhone/iPad.
