Wiring diagram for USB-C to USB-A cable?
2017年8月9日 · I make USB cables (USB-A to Mini or Micro primarily), but don't have any experience with USB-C. I would like to create a cable that has a USB-A (2.0) connector on one end, and a USB-C connector on the other (mainly for connecting keyboards to CPUs, and charging devices). How do I wire this properly (typically I use a 4-core 28AGW cable)?

2017年9月6日 · Use a "full-featured" Type-C to Type-C cable. The cables can be for USB2 only (which is hard to find), or a standard C-C cable with all USB 3.1 wires (which you will not use, so this would be some waste). The important thing with the C-C cable is the presence of CC wire between two ends of a cable, and, of course, GROUND wires, and VBUS wires.

It works well so far from limited testing (the battery I've used has its own protection), but there's a lot more to test. I've read around that I can do this using resistors, without the need of attaching another wired connection to both ends, but I am not sure how.
