Ubiquitin-specific peptidase 47 is a cysteine protease with three isoforms in human, including a full-length transcript of 1,375aa and two N-terminal 14–101 and 14–33 deleted transcripts. Among the USP family, USP47 shows high sequence similarity to USP7 and USP40.
