UDS+ aims to increase UDS report data's utility and reduce the annual reporting burden by aligning with interoperability standards and reporting requirements used across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and within the health care industry.

For CY24 UDS reporting (submission in 2025), we require a minimum submission of de-identified patient-level data (UDS+) as part of the UDS Modernization Initiative. This modified patient level UDS report is called UDS+. In the context of the IG, there are two primary actors namely Health Centers: Responsible for creating the UDS+ de-identified report and submitting to HRSA. HRSA: The Federal Agency responsible for accepting the UDS+ report, verifying, validating and processing the report.

2024年5月21日 · All HRSA-supported health centers must submit a full, aggregated 2024 legacy UDS report within HRSA’s Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) by February 15, 2025. The manual also includes information about UDS de-identified patient-level submission (UDS+) in Appendix G. For CY 2024 UDS reporting (in 2025), we will require a minimum submission for UDS+.

FHIR enables the quick and efficient exchange of health data. All data collected through UDS+ is de-identified and secured.
