The Exchange mail server can be accessed via Outlook, which provides a single location for organizing and managing day-to-day information, from email and calendars to contacts and task lists. The email can also be accessed using a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

Student Email. The University of Houston provides students with an email account @cougarnet.uh.edu which is accessible via the UH email icon in AccessUH or Outlook in Microsoft 365 Online . To ensure that you are receiving critical University information, students need to regularly check their @cougarnet.uh.edu UH provided email.

Under an agreement with Google, the University of Hawaiʻi ("UH") offers two types of Google applications through Google@UH: Core applications ("Core Apps") and Consumer applications ("Consumer Apps").

Your UH username followed by “@hawaii.edu” (e.g., [email protected]) will be your University of Hawai’i email address. Email is the official means of communication within the University system ( Executive Policy 2.213 ).

Once you have been admitted, you will receive an email about your new CougarNet account.
