The University of Houston Cooperative Education Program (CO-OP) is an internship program that gives UH students an opportunity to receive career training with pay as they work with professionals in their major fields of study.

Register for the UH CO-OP course to appear on the official UH transcript through PeopleSoft before starting work. UH CO-OP sections and course numbers are provided by the UH CO-OP team during the application process.

CO-OP work experience enables students to receive valuable educational training with pay in the student’s major field of study either part-time (parallel) or full-time (rotational).

Student completes the online UH CO-OP Application. Once the ONE PDF FILE and UH CO-OP Application are received from the student applicant, the UH CO-OP team will review the student’s major GPA requirements, university holds, and the required application document.
