Located at Shah Alam and within the Klang Valley, the faculty has gained its reputation as one of the pioneering institutions which offered courses in the field of the built environment. At present, the faculty comprises 11 academic deparments running 31 academic programmes ranging from diploma, undergraduate to postgraduate level of study.

It is a comprehensive programme which incorporates various aspects of construction management with emphasis on process, analysis and detailed understanding of theories and methods applied in construction and development. The programme was formally known as Bachelor of Construction Management (Hons).

It offers over 500 programmes taught in English that range from undergraduate to the postgraduate level. The school is home to some 170,514 full-time and part-time bumiputera and international students. Postgraduate programme is open for international students and bumiputera but not for non-bumiputera.
