2020年6月2日 · I'm planning on building a pc with this motherboard. However, it has two m.2 slots, the 'ultra' being " PCIe Gen3 x4' and the other being 'SATA 3'. I'm wondering if the 'ultra' has backward compatibility, so if i get a single m.2 ssd i can just put it in the ultra slot without worry, and if someone could explain the differences between the two.

2023年1月16日 · Hi all, Currently, I'm having an ASRock B560m pro 4, and I'm planning to upgrade with a 2 TB NVMe (Gen 3x4) on the Ultra M.2 slot that is currently free on the motherboard. However, I've been told that it will cause the gpu to perform slower as the slot is using power from the PCIe (i'm not really expert, so i don't really understand).

2022年6月10日 · ultra m.2 is just a brand name, it doesn't mean anything directly, only asrock calls it that, if you want info about the performance of the slot read the motherboard manual and see the speed of the port, e.g. pcie 3.0 x4.
