2023年7月12日 · I posted this about my Pioneer LX-505, but the method is exactly the same. Follow my guide for hopeful success! This is using a laptop with the Umik-1 mic, but it should work the same, even with the "puck" mic the Onkyo/Pioneer/Integras come with. Get a computer with the Umik-1 or Umik-2 for the best results, possible!

2019年5月27日 · FYI, shortly after I received my UMIK-2 from MiniDSP, I sent it to CSL for calibration. The turnaround time and communication were not very good. It was almost six weeks before I finally had the UMIK-2 back with its custom calibration file. Expecting business to be normal during the pandemic is probably not realistic.

2020年8月31日 · I have a UMIK-1 that shows up in Windows 10 as a -18 db version. Work well enough with REW and registers levels as needed but, within Windows and in the Helix DSP software, even when shouting about an inch from the microphone it barely registers.

2018年3月10日 · Hi all, I am using UMIK-1 & UMIK-2. My UMIK-1 always records the correct DB in REW in L & R channel but my UMIK-2 always measures less DB in the Left channel than right channel. Overall umik2 record less DB than umik1.

2022年6月30日 · Make sure you have the 90 degree calibration file loaded, using a medium sized tripod with the UMIK-1 mounted makes taking the measurements pretty straight forward for the positions required. You get better control using the Windows computer and can fine tune the Dirac filters vs the Onkyo controller app (which can only use the supplied mic).

2020年10月21日 · UMIK-X has been used in automotive applications (i.e. car manufacturers) for measuring cabin acoustics. The REW Pro upgrade can be used with any input sources that can be presented as a single multi-channel source. That would usually mean a mic array like UMIK-X or a multichannel interface with a set of analog mics.
