2008年12月25日 · After my first amp, circa '91 (Traynor Reverb Master), a blue Univox lead was my second, but sold in a move to the west coast. Then I bumped into a full 2x12 half-stack on Long Island, NY in about 2000. (pictured below) Nostalgia kicked-in and I took it home. I sold it long ago on ebay, but I loved it. Just too damn loud for apartments.

2013年8月12日 · Picked up this sweet little amp at a local shop. As soon as I plugged it in I knew I wasn't leaving without it. Absolutely nails some of the early Zeppelin tones :dude Best bang for the buck on tone of any of the amps that I own! Also takes pedals really well.

2024年8月13日 · A guitar was just a guitar... If you had one, you were happy... Didn't matter WHAT guitar...Gibson, Fender, Kay, Kent, Teisco, all eleventy-seven other Teisco brands, Sivertone, etc.... Nobody cared... Not much ego back then... We didn't bust on folks that didn't have a full Marshall stack....nor did we bust on someone with a Univox amp.

2013年1月9日 · Univox built guitars other than than Hi Flyers, you know. I've posted pics of my Effie several times before but considering this is a Univox thread, there's no better time to repost. It's my #1 guitar, and everything's completely original and looks as fresh as the day it came out of the factory - 40 years ago.
