2019年1月6日 · Union Pacific's experimental EMD SD24m seen at Provo, UT in 1977. UP 3999 has a vast story associated with it as it was used for all sorts of experiments. It was built as UP 423 in September 1959 and rebuilt into UP 3100 in August 1968 into the body seen here. Functionally this unit was the equivalent of a SD40 like 3054 in the photo.
