The VP-55HC is a high-capacity (HC) configuration that results in at least double the contents of the VP-55, dependent on uranium-235 enrichment. The VP-55HC design is identical to the VP-55 with the exception that the VP-55HC has a 5-inch pipe container located in the payload cavity that provides criticality control of the fissile contents.
