Apr 29, 2019 · I've been having a strange problem recently with Steam VR setting window not showing on my desktop. I've looked for a solution for a few weeks now without success. What's happening is I open Steam VR- the status window appears on my desktop - the app runs on my headset fine, When I try to open the settings window (through the status desktop window menu) nothing shows up.

Oct 2, 2016 · Unplug and replug in, your breakout box connections. If it still doesn't work.. try another power and USB outlet. That icon is dependent on the breakout box being detected.

Oct 16, 2024 · Menu icon, click that and create the play area again. In the SteamVR dashboard there is also a playstation VR headset icon, clicking that will show PSVR2 settings and a shortcut to create the play area.

I have checked and made sure controller is enabled and the steam vr icon on the computer screen shows vr and controller but in the steam home room which shows a controller with a highlighted Y the input from the controller does nothing Rhys

Sep 4, 2020 · Obviously I don't want to fetch, switch on and muck around with VR controllers every time I launch Skyrim VR just to configure it to use the gamepad...but I can't find an ini setting or any other way to make it respond to the gamepad if I launch it from a desktop icon (which points to the script extender launcher so I can use an ENB). The game launches but the gamepad does nothing.

Title explains it. I've redownloaded it multiple times but the icon just doesn't appear. When I first downloaded SteamVR, it was fine. Icon was there and it booted up normally. May 19, 2023 · Overrides the FPS cap to X instead of the default. On Desktop, 90 is the default. In VR, the headset's reported maximum refresh rate is the default.
