Just wondering if anyone here has done it or possibly done it differently to relining the seat etc (I'll try to link the post I'm referring too) also real world experience of riding with vfr tank, is it comfortable does it make the bike look bulky etc??

2008年2月19日 · I have been asked by Chris King for some fitting advice on a tank swap to the later VTR tank on an earlier model. From the photo I've seen the later tank does not have a fuel peticock like the old bikes have.

Yes - a Firestorm '97-'01 tank will fit - later model (generally*) had a larger capacity 19L tank but with a different fuel tap. *Some early models were registered after '01.

2009年4月27日 · Is this confirmed that the gas tank are different in the 98-00 years as opposed to the 01-05? I may have also put the float in incorrectly but I put it in the way it seemed it should be placed.
