2016年8月23日 · I have a 2003 VW with a similar 1.8T. IT just ticked over 165,000km so its low mileage for the age but still quite old. Turbo is still pulling strong with no hint of any issues. Maintain it using full synthetic and keep on top of other maintenance and you'll be fine.

2011年2月6日 · The old 1.8T (you have) is EA113-based, has 20V, belt-driven cams, and is port-injected. The current EA888-based 1.8T is 16V, direct-injected (dual-injected in some "ROW" applications I believe), and has chain-driven cams. (This current 1.8T is essentially a de-stroked 2.0T from cars like the GTI & A3 quattro, etc.)

The two New vehicles I'm looking at are the Mazda CX-30 GT and the VW GTI. It will mainly be used for city driving for up to 4 people. The following brands were NOT there this year (and maybe a few others I didn't think of), Mazda, Honda, Acura, Infiniti, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Stellantis, Tesla (kicked out).
