VW's electric family sedan is called the ID.7, but the stylish four-door has been canceled for the U.S. market.

The Volkswagen ID.7 is a battery electric car produced by German marque Volkswagen since 2023. [7] It has a five-door liftback design and is marketed in the E-segment. [1] An estate variant was launched in February 2024. [8]

The ID.7 features two all-electric powertrains. Models with RWD will have 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque from a 82-kWh battery paired with an electric motor, while models with AWD will have up to 335 hp. Volkswagen will announce more details, including range, closer to the ID.7’s on-sale date.
