2011年3月3日 · Vgasave is what Windows uses when your graphics driver is not present or not working or during Safe Mode. Go to the Device Manager and check the status of your Display adapter and also check for hard wares that may conflict with display usually under "other devices" or "Unknown devices" if present.

2012年3月6日 · I recently reinstalled windows XP. I belive it has had an issue because my computer cannot see my video card and is using the backup VGAsave. I have read enough to know to NOT disable VGAsave. I don't know what video card I have. With this issue my screen flickers on most scroll bars or whenever I attempt to pull over a window.

2017年9月12日 · I have Windows 7 Pro version running on a Toshiba S70 laptop with and Intel graphics card. It had been running fine for 3 years. All of the sudden Windows 7 is now stuck in vgasave mode where - It does not allow the laptop to hibernate or sleep - It does out recognize the external monitor that is connected to HDMI.
