Jack Viney (born 13 April 1994) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A midfielder, 1.78 metres (5 ft 10 in) tall and weighing 86 kilograms (190 lb), Viney is capable of contributing as both an inside and outside midfielder.

The heart-and-soul midfielder, former club captain and son of Melbourne Great Todd Viney is a Demon for life after spurning rival interest and extending his contract until 2028. Viney is a midfield warrior, now sitting third in club history for contested possessions and holding the all-time record for tackles.

Todd Viney (born 30 March 1966) is an Australian rules football executive and former player and coach. He is currently the General Manager of Football of the North Melbourne Football Club. [1] Viney played 13 seasons with Melbourne in the VFL/AFL, and he later served as their caretaker senior coach for the final five games of the 2011 season. [2]
