IT之家 9 月 2 日消息，宝马今日下午推出了一款全新纯电概念车 Vision Neue Klasse，并称这一名称代表着宝马新时期的到来。 同时，宝马还展示了自家下一代电动汽车的基础平台“Neue Klasse”，首批基于该架构的电动车型将于 2025 年投产。

新世代概念车基于宝马全新的NCAR架构打造，并采用第六代BMW eDrive电驱系统。 这套系统采用了高效的驱动电机和智能热管理系统，同时新开发的圆柱电芯相比之前使用的方形电芯在能量密度上高出20%以上，在充电速度上提高了30%。
