2023年10月5日 · My 2007 T5 with 94,000 miles has been making a low pitched “whirring” noise under light acceleration, it increases with rpm and goes down in pitch with upshifts, and stops when I let off the throttle. I can hear the turbo whistle separate from this noise. It’s audible in the linked video where I am in traffic going about 20kph. Any idea what it is?

I could easily split the MOST cable, but I wonder about the electric cable: it's not just 12V/ground but a lot of wires (surely all the controls travel that way, not just power).
