2016年7月16日 · VU tower definitely worth it for keys. No need to fully upgrade unless you fancy the challenge/clipboard reward/free maxis statue. Unlock meteor 3, its the most efficient (minimum vu parts for maximum keys) disaster, it's only vu level 6 I think.

2020年6月16日 · VU tower makes sense in terms of the keys; after level 17-19 the ship becomes too expensive. War games have nothing to do with the city, agreed. The monster at Level 3 gives you 10 keys if you kill it, I don't know about higher war levels, I've not tried.

2015年6月9日 · To upgrade the Vu tower, you need to accumulate Vu points in the Vu tower, by using the Vu destructions. The Vu points needed per upgrade increase. As well, as the money you need to upgrade it. Starting at 50k, then 60k, 70k... At later stages the key gain increases, but also the demand for normal items, to repair the buildings.

If your goal is to increase your population or have a beautiful city, you will likely need some of the specializations that require gold keys and as BigBang119 mentioned, Vu is the best way to get keys. Specializations will increase your population.

2018年6月1日 · I have seen a lot of guides about camping and suggestions by members here that say you should upgrade your vu tower as much as possible before moving on. And I'm not sure the pros of doing this outweigh the cons. By upgrading it, I guess you can get a couple more keys out of the disasters but it takes SO MANY more items to launch.

I had saved up Vu Tower items for about a month, launching disasters only here and there (because it gets expensive to upgrade the tower). And certain disasters only take 2-3 launches to get enough Vu points to upgrade it again.
