2024年5月21日 · I would highly recommend doing this mod. I installed the rear differential inserts from whiteline. The two press in inserts were pretty easy. The carrier bushings, that was another story!! Putting the car on jack stands so that you have the floor jack available is a must. The bushing will not fit easily back in the bracket by hand.

2023年7月20日 · Just to illustrate what I mean, here's a GD STI rear compared to the new Prodrive wing. The STI wing fills up the entire rear whereas the flared fender area of the VB is open. Design wise it's probably difficult to make properly since the rear fenders on the VB stick out so far past the sides of the trunk.

2023年2月16日 · The last year the WRX had a rear LSD was 2007. The 2022 DOES NOT have an lsd. It uses electronic brake torque vectoring to mimic an lsd. Problem is, it also limits power unless you have traction control off. That is bad marketing.

2022年9月11日 · My easiest and safest route has been to lift centrally from under the engine support or under the rear diff, then jack both the driver and passenger side simultaneously. Doing otherwise seems like it will crack my plastic bumper to get the pinch weld extensions underneath.

2023年12月19日 · I'm paraphrasing from the WRX TSM but it's pretty straight forward. Pull the rubber trim away from the bottom of the trunk opening and remove the tail lights. Remove the plastic trim from around the wheel well starting at the front and working backwards. Be Gentle! Remove the screws and clips from the rear bumper cover.

2022年7月13日 · I’m running front and rear from Whiteline, with adjustable end links from them as well. They’re super sturdy and have every bit of quality that the name carries. My buddy has the perrin front and rear bars with kart boy end links, and mine is just way stiffer overall.

2022年11月21日 · Reducing rear grip doesn't reduce understeer, it makes the car all that much slower so you can no longer drive fast enough to make the car understeer like it used to. Make the rear stick so you can forget about and then use trail braking technique to get the car to turn.

2023年9月18日 · •Torque spec for both rear plugs: 36 lb/ft. •Torque spec for front plug: 51 lb/ft Last but not least, if you have a shop vac, you can put the end of the shop vac hose into the funnel for the front differential, and turn it on to stop oil from blasting all over your hand when you take out front diff drain plug.
