Since 1982, WTLW TV-44 has been broadcasting Christian and family-safe programming to West Ohio. In the late 1970’s, founders Ron and Becky Mighell envisioned Christian TV for Greater Limaland; and it was through their faith-filled efforts that TV-44 became a reality on June 13,1982 with the broadcast of our first signal.

WTLW-LD (UHF channel 17, also mapped to virtual channel 44) in Lima operates as a translator of WLMA. The station's owner should not be confused with the American Christian Television System, a defunct television network, or Associated Christian Television System, which owns WACX in Orlando, Florida.

This idea of spreading the message of the Gospel has been core to WTLW since our founding in 1982. In essence, WTLW is Acts 44.
