2025年1月28日 · Yes that's the schematic I built, yeah I tore down my Dave Hunter 2 stroker and used the chassis for the Weber 5F2H. I just test ran it about an hour ago with a Strat HSS and Using a GZ34 and a TAD KT66 and one 12AX7 it soundes pretty darn good with a guitar at low to mid volume, but get's real nasty sounding especially with the Humbucker.

2019年9月9日 · I built a Weber 6M45 head kit (JTM45 clone) which is nearly the same amp as the 5F6-A Bassman. I relied quite heavily on info a got off the Metroamp web site at that time, as Weber kits came with no instructions. It turned out well.

2011年1月31日 · Weber P10Q (10A125's) are great speakers - have them in three amps, but I wouldn't get those for dramatically increased headroom either. If you want dramatically increased headroom for your bassman, get the ceramic equivalent from Weber - they're ungodly loud, efficient, twangy speakers that will add headroom to any amp - too much for me, even.

2007年1月3日 · Attenuators by nature cut high frequencies the more you attenuate. Therefore, alot of attenuators have treble boosts built in to help compensate for that. Turning up the treble on the amp also helps, if you've got any treble "left" on the knob.
